Round or square, with a central or lateral base; everything depends on the space to cover and the activity underneath when you set up your umbrella. So take in consideration the following tips before you make your choice:

Materials: make sure they are made of premium acrylics, and that they have an easy to move and easy to clean aluminum mechanisms.

• At least an 80% water resistant.
• Protection from UV rays provided by the textiles.

Size: make sure the size is adequate for the area and the use it will be given, depending on whether it is fixed or mobile. If it is a fixed one, you don’t have to worry too much for its larger size, but remember to choose an easy to move umbrella when you choose one that you want to move.

• If you want to have some shade in your garden, but you don’t have many trees, consider buying an umbrella. It is a practical and economical alternative.
• To choose the correct size of your umbrella, measure the table, chairs and space you want to cover. The diameter is usually 4 or 5 feet larger than the area to be covered.
• PVC fabric blocks the light by 100%, the canvas is durable and effectively block the sun. They are not resistant to water, but a treatment can be applied to the fabric to make it waterproof.
• A bad parasol gives a very bad image, so take care of these elements. If it’s too windy, it’s better not to open it so it doesn’t tear and deteriorate.
• It is important to know the function of this product and where you will place it. If you are often going to change its position, it is better to choose one with light base or wheels.
